About this opportunity

The Viking Scholarship provides a scholarship to a graduating North High School or North Engagement Center senior who will be attending Metropolitan State University of Denver, or any public Colorado community college or technical school. This renewable scholarship supports first-generation college students who demonstrate tenacity, curiosity, and social intelligence. The scholarship emphasizes academic achievements, scholastic potential, extracurricular activities and leadership, commitment to personal success factors, and financial need. Award amounts may be used toward tuition, fees, books, health insurance, transportation, and other educational expenses as defined by the college/university's Cost of Attendance.
