Vince and "Sadie" Mulligan Inspiration Award

The Vince and "Sadie" Mulligan Inspiration Award is granted to a third or fourth year UPEI Panther athlete who identifies as a woman, has achieved academically, is a team player, and has volunteered on campus or in their community during their educational experience at UPEI. This award honors Vince Mulligan's legendary contributions to UPEI students and the university community through countless volunteer efforts and his unwavering commitment to making a difference. The award also commemorates Nutmeg and Sadie, Vince's loyal canine companions who touched many lives with their friendly, kind and gentle manner. Originally established by Myrtle and Vaughan Smith, the award recognizes the significant impact that dedication to service, academic excellence, and teamwork can have on the university community and beyond.
