Virginia and Joe Tigue Scholarship

The Virginia and Joe Tigue Scholarship is offered by the Tarrant County College Foundation to support students enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College. The scholarship is awarded to students pursuing an associate degree or certificate of completion who demonstrate financial need and meet specific academic requirements. Recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA (or have a passing GED score if a first-time student) and enroll in at least 9 credit hours for the period of the award. The scholarship may be renewed for the spring semester if recipients achieve a minimum semester GPA of 2.75 and complete at least 9 credit hours in the fall semester. Award amounts vary based on available funding and recipient circumstances. This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of The Tigue Family and is administered through the Tarrant County College Foundation scholarship program.
