About this opportunity
The Virtual Library Programme at the Nordic Africa Institute offers 12 months of digital access to selected e-resources at the Institute's specialized library to Africa-based researchers. The programme is designed to support researchers engaged in Africa-oriented research within Social Sciences and Humanities who are part of an ongoing and established collaboration with a Nordic researcher. Through this programme, NAI aims to contribute to building capacity in the production of knowledge about Africa and to promote relations between African and Nordic research communities. The library specializes in literature on contemporary Africa and focuses on social sciences, offering Africa-specific resources that complement more general e-resources typically available at university libraries. The programme provides a virtual alternative to NAI's physical scholarship programmes, reducing travel requirements and improving accessibility for scholars with family or institutional obligations.
