Visiting Professorships

Lundbeck Foundation Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Visiting Professorships program supports Danish biomedical research groups to invite foreign guest researchers at the professor level to Denmark for 2-6 months to encourage collaboration between excellent senior scientists in Denmark and international peers. The Lundbeck Foundation's ambition is to make Denmark leading in neuroscience research by funding relevant biomedical, health, clinical and other sciences in Denmark. The goal is to foster world-class research at Danish universities and Danish university hospitals through international collaboration, which is seen as one of the best ways to elevate the Danish research environment and strengthen the career path of the researchers involved. The visit must be of mutual benefit to both the Danish research group's/department's research activities as well as the guest's research endeavors. The research should be within the field of basic or clinical neuroscience, or science with clear relevance to or potential benefit for neuroscience, used in its broadest sense including medical, technical, natural and social sciences as well as humanities.
