Vistelsestipendium till Kavalla, Grekland

Sveriges Författarförbund (Swedish Writers' Union) offers eight monthly residency grants for stays at the guest house in Kavalla, northern Greece. The grants run one month at a time, from mid-March to mid-November, and include free accommodation and a travel grant of 4,000 SEK. There is also an option to apply for an additional travel grant of 2,000 SEK if you choose to travel by train to Kavalla, paid after the trip upon submission of receipts. The guest house accommodates residents who manage their own household. The Kavalla house features 2 bathrooms with toilets, 2 separate toilets, 2 kitchens, 1 large work room, 1 living room, balconies, and a large garden. The house is equipped with a computer with laser printer and scanner, as well as wireless internet. This residency is designed for members of Sveriges Författarförbund (Swedish Writers' Union) to provide a creative working environment in Greece. No requirements regarding quality or quantity of written work apply when applying. The union takes into account the number of years as a member and whether you have previously received any travel grant from the union. Applications are accepted twice per year during specific application periods.
