VMA Program Award

The VMA Program Award was established in 2015 and is available to students enrolled full-time in the Veterinary Medical Assistant program at Lakeland College's Vermilion campus. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement combined with exemplary personal qualities and engagement in their educational journey. The award is based on multiple criteria including demonstration of academic achievement, displaying a respectful and positive attitude, being pleasant to work with, showing eagerness to participate in classroom activities, being hard working and willing to go the extra mile, and being helpful towards fellow classmates. The scholarship provides $500 to the selected recipient. This is an annual award that supports students pursuing education in veterinary medical assistance, helping to recognize and reward those who not only excel academically but also contribute positively to their learning environment and demonstrate collaborative spirit with their peers.
