Reumatikerförbundet (the Swedish Rheumatism Association) annually awards a healthcare research scholarship of 50,000 kronor. This award recognizes healthcare professionals who have completed their doctoral dissertation within the past seven years in rheumatology or musculoskeletal diseases. Eligible nominees include nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, or professionals in other allied health professions. The scholarship supports healthcare research excellence in the field of rheumatology and aims to promote continued research and development within musculoskeletal healthcare. The award is presented at one of Reumatikerförbundet's gatherings, and recipients are notified well in advance.
