VUW Postgraduate International Scholarship

This scholarship helps international students who are intending to study for a Master's degree or Postgraduate Diploma to join Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington's international student community. This is a partial fee-based scholarship that will go towards tuition fees for a Master's degree programme of 120, 180 or 240 points or a Postgraduate Diploma of 120 points. It is designed for new international students who are entering a Master's degree or Postgraduate Diploma and studying full-time on campus. The scholarship is valued at NZ$10,000 and applies for one year of study only, for a student's first enrolment in that programme. No scholarship application is required - students will be assessed for their eligibility for a scholarship on application for their programme, and recipients will be advised if they have been offered the scholarship in their Offer of Place. The scholarship applies directly to tuition fees upfront, allowing students to pay the reduced amount to the University.
