About this opportunity
The W. Ervin Marriot Memorial Scholarship Fund honors Ervin Marriot, a dedicated teacher who taught in the Grandview Heights School System from 1973 until his death in 1988. Ervin was known for instilling in his students a desire to think for themselves and for discussing current topics and their personal impacts. He loved to travel, having visited more than 50 countries, and shared insights from these travels with his students. This scholarship supports graduating seniors from Grandview Heights High School who demonstrate strong academic performance in mathematics and plan to pursue math or math-related fields. The scholarship recognizes Ervin's legacy as a teacher, friend, and coach by supporting students who share his passion for mathematics and education.
