About This Opportunity

The W. Givens-Smith SEDCO Scholarship was established at the University of Regina in 1982 by the SEDCO Board of Directors, in honour of William Givens-Smith, who served as a fifteen-year board member for the Saskatchewan Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO). The scholarship is presented annually to Master's students entering any Master's program in Administration, including Master of Business Administration, Master of Public Administration, or Master of Human Resource Management. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence and community volunteer accomplishments. There are three awards for full-time students and two awards for part-time students, awarded to students who are Saskatchewan residents with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 80%. Applicants must be in their first, second, or third semester of their Master's program and must demonstrate community volunteer accomplishments through a written application.
