About this opportunity
The W W Phillipps Award in Medicine was established in 1966 under the terms of the will of the late W W Phillipps. The purpose of the Award is to assist medical students in furthering their knowledge of a special aspect of medical education through elective study. Awards of up to $5,000 each are offered annually to support students enrolled in the MBChB Part VI elective study. The Award provides assistance for final elective study and is available for a tenure of up to one year. The number of awards varies each year, and the application process opens on 15 January 2026 and closes on 26 February 2026.
