WA Cooke, Jane Cooke and Alfred Godfrey Scholarship

The WA Cooke, Jane Cooke and Alfred Godfrey Scholarship is a postgraduate research scholarship supporting research students at the University of Sydney Law School. Established by the generosity of three benefactors through separate bequests, this scholarship aims to attract top candidates with well-developed research projects who would be competitive at leading international institutes of higher learning. The scholarship can be awarded as either a primary or supplementary stipend, or as a one-off payment, providing financial support for research in the disciplines of law. The scholarship has been established to support doctoral and master's research students conducting legal research at Sydney Law School, with preference given to commencing candidates who demonstrate exceptional academic merit and strong research proposals aligned with the School's strategic research priorities.
