Wai-man Woo Scholarship

The Wai-man Woo Scholarship is a foundation scholarship offered by Federation University Australia to support international students. Named after Dr Wai-man Woo, a long-term friend and supporter of the University who was awarded an Honorary Doctorate, Fellowship, and Honorary Ambassador title. Dr Woo is a well-established business person and leader in Hong Kong with extensive connections in mainland China, who has assisted the University with its operations in Hong Kong for more than a decade. In 2010, he launched the Federation University Australia Foundation with a $200,000 donation. The scholarship provides financial support of $7,000 to a new or commencing international student pursuing higher education studies at the Ballarat campus. The scholarship is available for students enrolled in bachelor, honours, or postgraduate programs.
