Walsh / Di Tolla / Spivak Scholarship

The Trustees of the Richard F. Walsh/Alfred W. Di Tolla/Harold P. Spivak Foundation offer ten scholarship awards each year to children of IATSE members in good standing. Each scholarship winner receives a total of $10,000 in scholarship funds, paid out at $2,500 per year over a four-year period. Since inception, the Foundation has assisted 140 students in the pursuit of a college education. To be eligible, applicants must be high school seniors at the time of application who have not yet commenced college or university. They must have applied, or be about to apply, for admission to an accredited college or university as fully matriculated students pursuing a bachelor's degree. The scholarship is open to both U.S. and Canadian students whose parent is a member in good standing of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). The application deadline is December 31st of each year with no exceptions. Applications must be mailed and emailed applications are not accepted. Winners are notified on or before the following June and announced in The Official Bulletin.
