About this opportunity
This scholarship supports financially disadvantaged students who are studying nursing. Established by Eliza Hall in 1912 as a million-pound charitable trust following her husband's death, the Walter and Eliza Hall Trust was created as a means of assisting those in need. Walter and Eliza Hall were active philanthropists during their life together. Since that time the trust has helped thousands of Australians to reach their full potential. The scholarship is designed specifically for nursing students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds who are studying in a Commonwealth Supported Place at the University of Sydney.
