Walter Chesnut Music Scholarship

The Walter Chesnut Music Scholarship is established to provide scholarship support for a music major whose primary applied area is trumpet and has demonstrated the highest standards of musical excellence. This scholarship is awarded through the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is intended to recognize and support outstanding trumpet students pursuing their music education. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the UMass Amherst scholarship portal.
