About this opportunity
The Walter Metzger Memorial Awards are financial need-based bursaries granted annually to full-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in Year Two of their program of study who are in good academic standing and have demonstrated financial need. These awards are made possible by a generous gift from the late Walter Metzger. The awards are open to students in any graduate program at the University of Waterloo, including both Masters and Doctoral level students. Recipients must have resided in Ontario for 12 months prior to beginning their post-secondary education and maintain good academic standing. Applications are accepted three times per year (March 1, June 15, and November 1) for Winter, Spring, and Fall terms respectively. Award amounts vary based on demonstrated financial need.
