Walter Read Hovey Memorial Fund

The Walter Read Hovey Memorial Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to advance the professional career of young persons with talent in the field of art history and related fields. This scholarship supports students pursuing graduate-level studies in art history or related specializations such as museum work, conservation, or restoration. Awards up to $5,000 are granted on a single-year basis, though previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years. Applicants must be United States citizens planning to attend graduate school with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
