Walter W. and Laura M. Pickard Memorial Award

Awarded to a returning full-time undergraduate student who is a single parent in financial need. This bursary is established at the University of Prince Edward Island by Mr. Donald Pickard in honour of his mother, Laura M. Pickard, for the purpose of assisting a student who due to difficult financial circumstances may not be able to complete his or her degree. This award is established by Mr. Pickard in respect and appreciation of Mrs. Pickard's extraordinary commitment to her family and concern for her community.
