Wanda Frey Joiner Scholarship of the Quota Club of Buffalo

The Wanda Frey Joiner Scholarship was established in 1959 by the Quota Club of Buffalo to provide financial support to students pursuing careers in serving individuals with communication and hearing disabilities. This scholarship is awarded to students majoring in teaching of the deaf or in speech pathology with the intent of doing clinical work with handicapped persons. The scholarship is available to students enrolled in the Graduate School of Education at the University at Buffalo. The award amount varies and is determined annually based on available funds.
