Ward Budget funding

Westminster City Council Original Source

About This Opportunity

Ward Budgets are a resource that Westminster City Councillors can use to support local issues and priorities. Since 2010, the council's Ward Budget Programme has supported over 2,500 projects to deliver positive local change in Westminster. Each ward has £46,000 a year to spend, and any money not used carries over each year during a 4-year cycle. Councillors can spend it flexibly on projects within their wards that benefit local residents. Projects must be managed by an organisation, charity, Community Interest Company, or community group. The programme aims to support community-led initiatives that address local needs and priorities identified by ward councillors and their constituents.
