About This Opportunity

Warren and Mahoney established this scholarship in 2021 to support Māori and Pasifika students who have a passion for Architecture and Design. The scholarship aims to support more diversity in the design profession, particularly Māori and Pasifika, and provides opportunities for students to build their skills and have closer ties to Warren and Mahoney and the architecture industry in general. The scholarship is open to applicants of Māori and/or Pasifika ethnicity in their 4th or 5th year (Part 1 or Part 2) of study in a Master of Interior Architecture or Master of Architecture (Professional) at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. The donor is looking for an individual who demonstrates a flair for design and innovation, along with good communication and relationship skills. The successful recipient will receive $5,000 and may also be offered a summer internship organized directly with Warren and Mahoney.
