Warren W and Ida E Prevey Memorial Medal

The Warren W and Ida E Prevey Memorial Medal is awarded annually to the convocating student with the highest academic qualifications in the work of the final two years in the Human Ecology program or the Nutrition and Food Science program at the University of Alberta. This memorial medal was endowed by Dr Esther Elizabeth Prevey in memory of her parents who believed in the values of education, especially higher education. The award recognizes academic excellence in the final two years of study in these specific programs. Recipients of this medal are not eligible to receive the Alberta Institute of Agrologists Medal, the Amy M Coates Memorial Medal in Nutrition and Food Science, or the Medal in Food Science.
