Warwick and Nancy Olsen PhD Scholarship

The Warwick and Nancy Olsen PhD Scholarship was established in 2011 by Mr Warwick Olsen to support Higher Degree by Research candidates in the field of biochemical engineering with a particular emphasis on using under-utilised natural resources in a manner beneficial to humanity. This is a philanthropic top-up scholarship providing $15,000 per annum for 3.5 years with the possibility of one extension in line with UQ and RTP Scholarship Policy. The scholarship is available to domestic candidates who hold a full living allowance scholarship and are undertaking full-time research in biochemical engineering at the University of Queensland. Recipients must be enrolled full-time throughout their studies and acknowledge the scholarship in published research papers resulting from their work.
