About This Opportunity

The WESEF Award is an annual scholarship of $1,000 awarded to a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo. The award recognizes students who have made a tangible difference in the quality of education and student life within the Faculty of Environment. Special consideration is given to applicants who have contributed to a successful WESEF proposal. This fund is made possible by an annual donation from the Waterloo Environment Students Endowment Foundation. The award is open to both Canadian/permanent residents and international students enrolled in masters or doctoral programs within the Faculty of Environment, including programs in Environment, Enterprise & Development, Environment, Resources & Sustainability, Geography & Environmental Management, and Planning. Applications are submitted through the WESEF website and are due by November 30 annually. The award is distributed during the winter term.
