Waymade Scholarship

The Waymade Scholarship is generously funded by the Shanta Foundation and supports five BSc undergraduate Nursing or Midwifery students each year at De Montfort University. The scholarship provides £3,000 per year for the full 3 years of study. The scholarship is designed to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds who demonstrate financial need with household incomes up to £50,000. All applicants must be income assessed by Student Finance England. Recipients are required to provide annual reports on their academic achievements and the impact of the scholarship, attend an informal annual event with donors, and demonstrate commitment to their studies through a statement describing personal circumstances and evidence of resilience in achieving educational goals.
