About this opportunity
The Wayne C. Fox scholarship was established to attract the very best students to the Faculty of Arts and to recognize the achievements of outstanding young scholars. The scholarships are awarded on a rotating basis within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo to students who have received an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) or a Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science & Technology (QEII-GSST). This award provides $5,000 and is paid as the institutional matching funds for the OGS or QEII-GSST. The selection is made by the Faculty Associate Dean, Graduate Studies, and students are selected automatically by the Faculty/Department. The scholarship is available to both Canadian/permanent resident students and international/study permit students enrolled in eligible programs within the Faculty of Arts at the masters or doctoral level.
