WEAC Future Educators Scholarship

The WEAC Future Educators Scholarship is established by the Wisconsin Education Association Council to encourage entrance into the field of education by children of eligible WEAC members. This scholarship provides financial support to high school seniors who are planning to pursue an education major or minor and intend to be employed in the education profession in Wisconsin. Recipients must be children of WEAC members in good standing, enrolled in a public school under supervision of a publicly elected school board, and demonstrate strong academic performance by ranking in the top 25% of their graduating class or maintaining a 3.0 cumulative GPA. The scholarship awards $1,450 per year for up to four years of study, to be used for tuition and fees, provided recipients remain eligible throughout their undergraduate education.
