Webuild Women in Engineering Scholarship

The Webuild Women in Engineering Scholarship is designed to support female domestic students pursuing engineering degrees at the University of Queensland. This scholarship recognizes academic excellence and encourages women to pursue careers in engineering, particularly in the civil engineering and construction field. The scholarship provides $10,000 per year for up to 3 years to female students enrolled full-time in their second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Engineering, or dual engineering program in relevant fields including Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Selection is based on the strength of interest in construction as evidenced by the personal statement, personal and leadership qualities demonstrated in the application, and preference is given to students interested in the civil engineering and construction field. Recipients must be in good academic standing and not hold another similar scholarship.
