About this opportunity

The Weiss History Award provides scholarship support for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) students majoring in History. This annual award recognizes excellence in historical studies through academic work. Recipients are selected based on submission of a term paper from a regular historical studies course. Awards of $250 are made annually, with recipients selected by a committee appointed by the Chair of the Department of Historical Studies. Both graduate and undergraduate students majoring in Historical Studies are eligible to apply.
