Weiss Memorial Scholarship

The Weiss Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Philip Weiss by his wife, Rachel Weiss. This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior (or, in exceptional cases, junior) majoring or minoring in Judaic Studies who has demonstrated academic excellence. The award recognizes outstanding academic performance in Judaic Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Recipients are selected based on their academic record and a written essay submission demonstrating their engagement with the field of Judaic Studies.
