Welcome to Gloucestershire Award 2026/27

The Welcome to Gloucestershire Award is a bursary program offered by the University of Gloucestershire designed to support first-year undergraduate students who have completed their further education at eligible Tier 1 partnership schools. The award provides £1,000 in cash to qualifying full-time students entering their first year of undergraduate study in the 2026/27 academic year. The bursary is paid in two instalments: 70% after enrolment is completed (no later than the end of teaching week 5) and 30% at the commencement of the second semester (no later than the end of teaching week 5). This award recognizes the University's commitment to supporting students from partner schools and colleges with which it has established contractual outreach relationships. Eligible students must be UK residents paying home fees, starting at level 4 of their course, and must have successfully completed a full-time NQF level 3 further education course lasting a minimum of one year at one of the designated Tier 1 partnership schools no earlier than the 2024/25 academic year.
