About this opportunity

This School of Architecture and Urban Planning (SARUP) scholarship is for students earning their master's in urban planning. The Welford Sanders Memorial Scholarship was established by the Urban Planning Chapter of the UWM Alumni Association for students who are in need of financial assistance, have encountered significant barriers to achieving higher education or are first-generation college students and demonstrate commitment to advancing racial equity as an urban planner. This scholarship may be renewable for a second year. This financial commitment to the student is contingent upon the student enrolling in at least 12 credits per semester (typically 4 classes) and staying in good standing at UWM.
