Wendy Konoza Memorial Award in Education

The Wendy Konoza Memorial Award in Education is awarded to an Alberta resident with satisfactory academic standing convocating with a Bachelor of Education (Elementary Route). Selection is based on demonstrated excellence during the Advanced Professional Term student teaching experience. Preference is given to students who have demonstrated excellence and an ongoing commitment to working with young people in paid or volunteer positions, such as coaching, youth groups, tutoring, or mentoring. This award recognizes outstanding teacher education students who have shown exceptional dedication to working with young people both in their teaching practice and through community involvement. The award is funded through an endowment established by the friends and family of Wendy Konoza.
