Westbury Family Award in Philanthropy

The Westbury Family Award in Philanthropy is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing entering the third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Alberta. The award recognizes students who demonstrate an interest in community building through philanthropic means, as shown through academic or extracurricular activities in community service learning, charitable fundraising, volunteer work, or similar activities. Preference is given to students who demonstrate an interest in entering the non-profit sector upon graduation. This award is endowed by TELUS in honour of Drs Bob and Marilyn Westbury and their family, and is administered through the Alberta School of Business.
