Western New York Psychiatry Medical Scholarship Fund

The Western New York Psychiatry Medical Scholarship Fund was established by the Patrick P. Lee Foundation to support medical students pursuing psychiatry. This scholarship is specifically designed for third or fourth year medical students enrolled in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo who plan to specialize in psychiatry. Recipients are required to make a commitment to practice psychiatry in the Western New York area for at least five years following their training. The scholarship provides significant financial support to help offset the costs of medical education while encouraging graduates to address mental health needs in the Western New York community.
