Western New York Psychiatry Medical Scholarship Fund

The Western New York Psychiatry Medical Scholarship Fund was established by the Patrick P. Lee Foundation to support medical students pursuing careers in psychiatry. This scholarship is specifically designed for third or fourth year medical students enrolled in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. Recipients must demonstrate a commitment to practicing psychiatry in the Western New York area for at least five years following completion of their training. The scholarship provides financial support of up to $32,000 to help offset the costs of medical education while encouraging students to remain in the Western New York region to address local mental health needs.
