Western Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund for Higher Education

The Western Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund for Higher Education was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors residing in Allegheny County who are planning on attending a 4-year college or university. This scholarship provides an average award of $5,000 and may be awarded as a single year or multi-year scholarship for up to 4 years. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be Pell eligible as determined by the FAFSA. The scholarship supports students with strong academic performance (minimum 3.5 GPA) who plan to attend a 4-year college or university in Pennsylvania.
