This is a renewable scholarship. Payment of this award will commence in second year contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to April period in the qualifying year. Receipt of funding for the third and fourth years is contingent upon maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a minimum 24 credits over the most recent September to April period in the Faculty of Engineering each year. The scholarship is funded by endowed funds from the Westmoreland Coal Company and is administered through the University of Alberta's Faculty of Engineering.
