About this opportunity
The Westmoreland Walks, Inc. Pink Ribbon Scholarship Fund was established at The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County to provide financial support to graduating seniors of Westmoreland County high schools whose lives and/or families have been impacted by breast cancer. This single-year award provides up to $5,000 in financial assistance to help students pursue their educational goals at accredited vocational or technical trade schools, or 2- or 4-year colleges or universities. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, reside in Westmoreland County, and be involved in fundraising or support for breast cancer charities. The scholarship recognizes students who have been personally affected by breast cancer and are committed to continuing their education while supporting awareness and fundraising efforts for breast cancer causes.
