About this opportunity
The Wetaskiwin Agricultural Society Leadership Awards are awarded annually to students with satisfactory academic standing entering the second, third or fourth year of studies in the BSc. in Agriculture, BSc. in Animal Health or BSc. in Forestry programs at the University of Alberta. Recipients are chosen on the basis of academic standing, leadership abilities, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. Applicants must be or have been residents of the County of Wetaskiwin or community within the County for at least one year prior to enrolment at the University of Alberta. Financial need may also be considered. This is an endowed award funded by the Wetaskiwin Agricultural Society and administered through the Faculty of Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta.
