WG Edwards Charitable Foundation Grants

The W. G. Edwards Charitable Foundation is an independent grant-making charity that provides funding to registered UK charities with innovative projects which improve the health and wellbeing of people over the age of 65 in the UK. This small foundation gives grants for refurbishment, equipment, innovative schemes for ongoing care, and projects which help people live active and fulfilling lives. Trustees are interested in supporting a diverse range of charities which support older people, from large institutions to small community-run organisations. Due to high demand for donations, the foundation prioritizes applications from charities working in areas of deprivation and those which have a focus on arts and wellbeing. Around 100 organisations each year are successful in obtaining grants usually between £1,000 to £1,500.
