Wiegand Foundation/Loran Award

The Wiegand Foundation/Loran Award is an entrance scholarship offered at the University of Waterloo in recognition of the goals of the Loran Scholars Foundation. This award is specifically designed to support Loran Scholars who have been accepted to the university. The Wiegand Foundation may fund the tuition award for a Loran Scholar enrolled in Year One of a degree program at the University of Waterloo. The scholarship is valued at up to $6,000 and is open to students in any program at the university. This award supports outstanding students who have been recognized as Loran Scholars, helping to offset their tuition costs in their first year of undergraduate studies. No separate application is required for this award beyond being a Loran Scholar.
