Wigham Family Entrance Scholarship in Humanities and Social Sciences

The Wigham Family Entrance Scholarship in Humanities and Social Sciences is offered annually to undergraduate students entering their first year in the Arts and Science Honours Academy in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Calgary. This scholarship recognizes superior academic achievement in high school and requires a scholarship average greater than 90.0%. Established through the generous support of donors Darol and Ev Wigham, this scholarship provides financial assistance to outstanding incoming students pursuing studies in humanities and social sciences disciplines. Up to ten awards of $1,000 each are available annually to qualified students who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence. Students are nominated through the High School Nominated Awards program for new students.
