About this opportunity
The Wilfred Southall Sustainability Awards provide £1,000 grants to sustainably-minded postgraduate art and design students at Bath Spa University. There are three categories within the awards: Sustainable Communication (projects representing contemporary issues or reconsidering engagement with contentious issues in national or international contexts), Sustainable Fabrication (projects making innovative use of materials, promoting circular economy or energy-conscious solutions), and Sustainable Community Engagement (projects using diverse collaboration to promote social cohesion, inclusion or reconciliation). Each category offers one taught postgraduate student the opportunity to receive the award. The Southall Trust is a Quaker-based, family-run, grant-making charitable trust established in 1937, committed to creating a more just, peaceful and collaborative society through grants in areas including environmental action and sustainability.
