About This Opportunity
The Will Power Scholarship Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory of Will Pilarski to provide scholarships for graduating seniors of Hampton High School in Allison Park, PA. The scholarship provides an average award of $2,500 to students who plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school or 2- or 4-year college or university. Preference is given to students who have maintained positivity, perseverance and demonstrated will power to overcome adversity or an obstacle in life. Recipients must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. This is a single year award, though previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years.
