William and Betty Buchanan Memorial Scholarship in Accounting

The William and Betty Buchanan Memorial Scholarship in Accounting is awarded annually to a student entering the final year of their degree program at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta. The scholarship is based on superior academic achievement. Preference is given to those students considering pursuing the professional designation of CA (Chartered Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant). The scholarship is funded through endowed funds provided by the Balfour and Buchanan Families. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
