About this opportunity

The William Buck Indigenous Scholarship is designed to lessen the barriers that often hinder access to higher education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Recognising the unique challenges Indigenous students face in pursuing higher education, William Buck aims to provide support that empowers and uplifts the aspirations of these students at Western Sydney University. This scholarship is specifically for undergraduate students enrolled in the School of Business at Western Sydney University. The scholarship provides financial support over three years, with a total value of approximately $45,000 AUD. Applicants must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, have appropriate documentation confirming their identity, and be enrolled full-time or part-time in any undergraduate degree in the School of Business. Applicants must demonstrate the rationale for seeking an equity-based scholarship, which includes but is not limited to socio-economic challenges. This scholarship represents a commitment to supporting Indigenous students in their educational journey and helping them achieve their academic and career goals in business and management fields.
