About this opportunity
The William C. and Anna Rose Chamberlain Memorial Scholarship was established in 1926 for the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The fund provides financial assistance to educate individuals interested in the ministry or working as a missionary or ordained professional minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), or for some definite religious work in connection with the church. Priority is given to members or former members of Gender Road Christian Church (formerly known as Southeast Christian Church). The scholarship supports students pursuing theological education at educational institutions in the United States. Candidates must be pursuing education for the ministry as a missionary or an ordained professional minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), or for some definite religious work in connection with the church. Preference is given to members of Gender Road Christian Church, with priority given to members of the Disciples of Christ church.
