About This Opportunity

The William Clay Ford, Jr. Scholarship Program was established by Executive Chair William Clay Ford, Jr. to assist Ford employees and their children in paying for postsecondary education. The program provides $1,500 in assistance for children of U.S. Ford employees. Recipients may use the scholarship funds toward a variety of educational expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, and required equipment. The program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation's largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs. Eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor and eligible applications are reviewed by Scholarship America's evaluation team. A community service component is incorporated into the selection criteria, emphasizing the importance of community involvement. The top 25% of students will be selected based on academic achievement, leadership, and participation in school and community activities. Selection of recipients is made by Scholarship America, and no officer or employee of Ford Motor Company plays a part in the selection process.
